Services for learning disabled, mentally impaired,hearing and visually impaired, and speech and language impaired students are provided at no cost to parents. Services including physical therapy, occupational therapy, social work services and speech and language therapy are provided. The need for services is determined through a comprehensive case study evaluation. Robinson Community Unit School District # 2 is a member of the South Eastern Special Education Cooperative (S.E.S.E).

Services for children age birth through five years old are also provided by the district through the Get Set Pre-K Program and the Children and Parent Program. Program administrator is Alice Taylor.
