Solo and Ensemble Contest preparation is in full swing. Those students should be signing up for weekly lessons. Contest is March 27.

The Music in Our Schools Month Concert is March 23 at RHS. The 8th grade band will be performing. Everyone is welcome to attend and will feature the music departments from all of the schools in the district.

On February 6, 14 NMS 8th Graders took part in the EIU Middle School Honor Band Festival. Dr. Milton Allen, Director of Bands at EIU, hosts the event, and Mike Story was the guest composer/conductor for the day.
