I am one of six children born to Larry and Linda Lingafelter. I grew up in Willow Hill and graduated from Newton Community High School. I received an Associate in Arts and an Associate in Science from Olney Central College, afterwards receiving my teaching degree from Eastern Illinois University.
My teaching experiences include 2 years of teaching business at West Richland Jr./Sr. High School, 1 year at Robinson High School teaching Spanish, and 4 years at Newton Community High School teaching business. Last year I returned to RHS as a business teacher and this year I am teaching both business and Spanish. I am also the FBLA sponsor.
My husband, David, and I have a 4-year-old daughter, Darcee, and a son, Weston, who was stillborn in December 2007. Our extended family includes multiple cats and two wonderful rat terriers, Otis Edward and Sampson Gene. |
