Andrew Flynn

Mr. Flynn is a first year teacher at Nuttall Middle School.  He graduated from Emory & Henry College in Emory, Virginia in 2005.  While in college he participated in the Emory & Henry Concert Choir, Oratorio Choir, Brass Ensemble Stadium Brass, Symphony of the Mountains, and Opera Workshop.  Mr. Flynn studied privately with Dr. Aaiana Morera at the University of Evansville and Mark Owen Davis while attending Emory & Henry.  Starting in high school and continuing through college Mr. Flynn was a member of the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus.   

For the common things of everyday
God gave man speech
in a common way.

For the deeper things men
think and feel
God gave the poet words to reveal.

But for the heights and depths
that know no reach
God gave man music
the soul's own speech.
