Instrument Reccomendations

It is vital to a student's success in band to have a quality instrument in good playing condition. Below I have listed several trusted companies for the various instruments. I would strongly encourage parents to contact me before considering an instrument purchase other that any of those listed below. In my opinion, a used instrument from one of these brands is better than an instrument from an unreliable company. Many instruments from these unreliable companies are truly inferior and most local repair shops will not repair these instruments because 1) they cannont get replacement parts for these instruments or 2) they believe that as soon as they fix the problem another problem will immediately arrise and their customer will be angry at them because their instrument was just in the shop. I have seen many students with instruments that they say they bought off of Ebay. Unfortunately, I have seen these students have many problems with their instruments that are often difficult to have fixed. I urge you to use great caution if you consider making a purchase from Ebay.

Below are the brands for each instrument that are considered to be quality instruments for students to use. If you have any questions regarding any purchase, feel free to contact Mr. Jansen. If you are considering purchasing an instrument from a different company, please contact Mr. Jansen before making that purchase.
