Teaching Schedule
Monday- Friday (1:05-1:45) First Grade
(1:45-2:25) Second Grade
Mr. Riggs and I share this time period. We each teach one week at a time taking turns teaching during this time period. During the weeks that I am not teaching I am tutoring students in areas that they are needing extra help in.

My classes are designed to reinforce the teaching that the students are receiving in the regular classroom. We use hands-on techniques and math games to do this. We cover a variety of math related topics; including telling time, counting money, math facts, measuring, and fractions. For example, the past 2 math classes I have taught the second graders how to read a recipe and use measuring utensils to measure for the recipe. This concluded with the students watching me mix chocolate chip cookie dough and of course eating those chocolate chip cookies.
