On October 4th our class was the guest of Marathon at the Nature Conservation Area.

The boys and girls had a great time observing and learning about nature in our area.

They participated in five learning stations as well as enjoying lunch served by Marathon employees.

It was a great field trip!

Our first station was the Alphabet Walk.

Everyone looked for things which started with each letter of the alphabet.

Next was lunch.

Marathon even gave us cool blue lunch bags with our lunches.

Our last stop was the Common Senses station.

We used our senses to observe nature in the prairie grass.
