Turkey Acrostics

The boys and girls colored coffee filters with markers.

Then they dipped them in water. They were excited to see the colors mix together.

We used the coffee filters for our turkey tail feathers.

When we finished our turkeys, we had fun writing.

We brainstormed words that on our SMART Board that started with each letter in the word turkey.

Then we each used the letters in turkey to begin a line of our writing project.
